Built in 1947, the Bray Memorial Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering was constructed at a time when wartime materials restrictions made new construction difficult. Thus, bricks salvaged from the drained Reservoir were used to face the new building. The building provided a laboratory and classroom space for the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and served as a Navy test laboratory for many years. Today, it continues to be the central laboratory facility for the mechanical engineering department.

On Thursday, November 12, 2009 UIT will be upgrading the data network equipment in the telecommunication room 205 of Psychology Building. Beginning at 5:30 am the data network equipment in room 205 will be unavailable for approximately 3-3.5 hours. Only the 2nd and 3rd floors will be affected by this upgrade. If you are unable to obtain network connectivity after 9:00am please try logging out and logging back into your computer. If this does not work, please contact the UIT Support Center at 617-627-3376.
